# How to join the Discord

Joining the Discord is easy!

### ✅**Anyone can join the Discord!✅ This page outlines a guide for BOOT token holders to access the token-gated governance channels!**

## BOOT Holder?

**You need a minimum of 10,000 BOOT tokens in order to gain access to the private governance channels within the Discord server.** Once you have at least 10,000 BOOT tokens in your wallet, you can follow the instructions provided by the collab.land bot [in the Discord](https://discord.gg/zXYuYzGv4r) under the "collabland-join" channel or follow the step-by-step instructions below.

Anyone can join the Discord via the invite link, but must go through the token verification process provided by collab.land in order to gain access to the governance channels.

### Step 1

Follow this invite link to the server: <https://discord.gg/zXYuYzGv4r>

### Step 2

Once in the server, select the "collabland-join" channel. You should see this message:&#x20;

Select "Lets Go!" and you should get a message looking similar to this:&#x20;

Select "Connect Wallet" and you should be taken to this website:

Select the wallet that your BOOT tokens are in (You will likely need to select "Show All" to find it)

### Step 3

After you have selected the wallet holding your BOOT tokens, you will be asked to connect it to collab.land. It will look like this:&#x20;

Select "Connect" and you will be shown a message like this:&#x20;

Click "Sign Message" and you will be prompted to approve a signature request. Simply select "Approve" and you will be granted access to the private channels!&#x20;

Welcome to the governance community! Introduce yourself!
